HansenSA International is a privately owned global pharmaceutical consultancy company, focused primarily on setting up strategic marketing, manufacturing and supply affiliations in major global markets. We have a strong heritage in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry of China, with fully trained staff in regulatory, GMP, commercial and supply chain management based in Shanghai.

Over a period of 20 years, our dynamic team of professionals has gained hands-on experience in the Chinese and APAC pharmaceutical markets, in addition to 15 years’ experience in Europe and Southern Africa. Our team is active in these markets, and in bringing our experience to companies wishing to interact with these markets. We are experts in the sourcing, development, manufacturing and marketing of prescription generic and branded pharmaceuticals, selective biosimilar products, as well as over-the-counter (OTC) and consumer health products.

We fully manage the relationship with the Chinese manufactruers as well as the entire supply chain, and ensure ongoing compliance with GMP standards and technical agreements. Our fully trained staff in our Shanghai office are competent in all the in all key areas, and we have become expert in our dealings with the pharmaceutical industry in China, having pioneered the introduction of Chinese manufactured pharmaceutical products in various regulated markets globally.

We have placed products into the United Kingdom and certain EU markets, as well as Australia, New Zealand, across Sub-Saharan Africa, and in various Asia Pacific countries such as Singapore, Philippines and Malaysia.
